Luminant Supports A ‘Stay’ of EPA’s Final Rule on CO2

Luminant is a part of a broad coalition of parties that are challenging the legality of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Final Rule regulating carbon dioxide (CO2), the “Clean Power Plan”. This coalition includes other generators, a bipartisan group of 25 State governments, broader business groups representing consumers of power, mining interests, and certain labor groups, among many others. We share a common concern for balancing the need for reliable, affordable, and environmentally sound electricity supplies.
