On July 7, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved Vistra’s application for a 20-year extension to the Perry Nuclear Power Plant’s operating license. This will enable Perry to continue providing Ohio and PJM a resilient source of baseload power, jobs, economic activity, and grid reliability through 2046.
